I know your post is just about one issue but my comment is kinda about all of them so far.
I've never been into the Fantastic Four, but I picked this up because it ISN'T the Fantastic Four. I powered through the first couple issues cause I was honestly a bit confused at first - but then it all clicked for me, and now I LOVE it!
Apart from what you mentioned (which was one of my favorite scenes), it has:

- classic Matt Fraction humor
- Scott defending non-traditional families
- also Darla Deering looking amazing all the time
